Mission
Fandom Forward turns fans into heroes. We use the power of story and popular culture to make activism accessible and sustainable. Through experiential training and real life campaigns, we develop compassionate, skillful leaders who learn to approach our world’s problems with joy, creativity, and commitment to equity.

We envision a world without regional, demographic, or financial barriers to leadership opportunities, and where activism is sustainable because it is approached with joy and bolstered by community support.

Our Commitments
LGBTQIA+ Equality
We will fight for equality and stand in solidarity as LGBTQIA+ people and allies.
Gender Equity
We will practice intersectional, trans-inclusive feminism and fight for inclusive gender equity on all fronts.
Youth Advocacy
We will continue working to expand the political and social capital of young people, through our campaigns and our leadership development programs.
Racial Justice
We will fight white supremacy by working to dismantle racist institutional practices and social behaviors.
Education & Libraries
We will work to make truthful education accessible to all and advocate for public libraries.
Media Reform
We will continue to support real net neutrality, work actively to increase the media literacy of our membership, and support free press and fact-based journalism.
Climate Change
Climate change is real and impacts are intersectional. We will support refugees, impoverished communities, and others whose lives are jeopardized by its adverse effects.
